Scan a bill, letter, or statement with your camera or import one from Photos or Mail. Papertidy reads it on-device, tells you in plain English what you owe, who it's from, and when it's due, and can turn that due date into a reminder with one tap. Pro adds an AI assistant that answers questions across everything you've scanned, and a Face ID–protected Vault for passports, insurance cards, and tax filings.

Papertidy does not require an account and never asks you for personal information to use the app. Scanned documents, extracted text, and search all stay on your device. We operate no servers and never see, receive, or have access to your documents.
Text recognition, date and amount extraction, and the AI assistant all run using Apple's on-device frameworks (Vision and Apple Intelligence, where available on your device). Nothing you scan or ask the assistant is sent to us or to any third-party AI service.
If enabled, your documents sync between your own devices using Apple's CloudKit, inside your personal iCloud account. This data is encrypted by Apple and is never accessible to us.
Papertidy asks for camera access only to scan documents, and Photos access only when you choose to import an existing image. Neither is used for any other purpose.
Documents you keep in the Vault are protected by Face ID, Touch ID, or your device passcode using Apple's on-device authentication. We never receive your biometric data — Apple's frameworks confirm your identity locally and only report success or failure.
Papertidy Pro subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are processed entirely by Apple through StoreKit. We never see your payment information.
Papertidy contains no advertising and no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.
Papertidy is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
